Evolve Finance Blueprint | Advisory workshops

A clear plan for your finance systems. A business case your leadership can review.

Sample Evolve Finance Blueprint executive decision pack
Understand what is slowing finance down, what it is costing and which changes are worth making. Evolve’s advisory engagement turns workshops and evidence review into a practical design, prioritized roadmap and executive decision pack.

What we examine

Finance does not operate in isolation.

We look across the processes, systems, controls and people that influence the quality and speed of financial work.

01

Finance operations & controls

Month-end, account structures, dimensions, approvals, access and process ownership.

04

Systems & integrations

Operational platforms, data ownership, interfaces, recurring failures and reconciliation controls.

02

Billing, receivables & payables

Transaction flows, collection and payment processes, exceptions and manual handoffs.

05

Reporting & decisions

The reports leadership needs, the data behind them and the work required to produce them.

03

Entities & projects

Intercompany processes, consolidation requirements, project costs, billing and profitability.

06

Costs, adoption & AI readiness

Software and support spend, workarounds, team capacity, change impacts and practical automation opportunities.

How the engagement works

Four stages. One decision-ready outcome.

01

Agree the questions

We define the business decisions, scope, participants and evidence required before the workshops begin.

02

Review the work

We examine selected processes, sample reports, system flows and cost inputs with the people responsible for them.

03

Develop the recommendations

We distinguish verified findings from assumptions, prioritize improvements and assess delivery dependencies.

04

Present the decision pack

We walk leadership through the options, costs, roadmap and recommended next actions.

This is a paid advisory engagement.

The number of workshops and delivery schedule depend on your agreed scope and access to information. It is not a two-minute score or a software demonstration.

What you receive

Tangible work your team can act on.

We look across the processes, systems, controls and people that influence the quality and speed of financial work.

01

Current-state assessment

Documented process and system gaps, their business impact, the evidence reviewed and the issues requiring further validation.

03

Future-state finance design

Proposed process ownership, control improvements, reporting structures and the roles of Business Central and connected systems where relevant.

02

Cost-optimization register

Opportunities to reduce recurring spend, release team capacity or avoid future costs, with assumptions, effort, dependencies and suggested owners.

04

Implementation roadmap

A prioritized sequence of initiatives, dependencies, indicative timing, internal resource needs and a planning-level investment range.

Prepared for leadership review

Board-ready decision pack

An executive presentation with the case for change, options, expected benefits, risks and decisions required, supported by the detailed action register.

Cost optimization

Evidence, not inflated savings.

We examine overlapping software, unused functionality, manual processing, recurring interface problems, support costs and unnecessary implementation scope.

We separate cash savings from capacity released, avoided future spending and working-capital improvements. Estimates show their assumptions and confidence level; they are not guaranteed savings.

Cash savings

Future costs avoided

Capacity released

Working-capital improvements

A standalone engagement

Useful on its own. Credited if we implement.

The Finance Blueprint is delivered for an agreed fixed fee. If you proceed with a qualifying Evolve implementation, the full advisory fee is credited against your implementation services.

Your proposal confirms the qualifying scope, timing and how the credit is applied.

Questions leadership will ask

Clear answers before the work begins.

Do we have to replace our ERP?

No. The recommendation may be to improve processes or make better use of existing systems before considering a replacement.

Is this an independent ERP selection service?

No. Evolve specializes in Business Central implementation. The Blueprint assesses your finance operations and transformation priorities; it does not run a vendor or implementation-partner selection exercise.

What will you need from us?

Relevant finance and operational stakeholders, sample reports and process information, system details and selected cost inputs. We agree access and confidentiality arrangements before reviewing sensitive information.

Your next step
