The privacy and security of personal information is very important to Evolve Strategy & Capital Inc. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We protect and respect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. This Privacy Policy explains our privacy and security practices for personal information in our possession or control and may be supplemented by specific internal policies, procedures, or notices.

1. Why we collect personal information

 

We collect personal information for the following authorized purposes (“Authorized Purposes”):

  • To administer, plan, and manage our relationship and to communicate with individuals;

  • To provide requested information, products, support, and/or services;

  • To personalize events and marketing communications;

  • To improve our products, services, and website and for internal business purposes;

  • To provide information about current and future products and services, consistent with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL); and

  • To comply with legal or regulatory obligations and to protect our legal rights and property.

 

Typical information we may collect: name, email address, company, job title, address, phone number, and any other information you choose to provide.

2. How we collect personal information

 

We generally collect personal information directly from you with your knowledge and consent - for example when you:

  • Submit a contact or demo request on our website;

  • Sign up for an event, newsletter, or download content;

  • Communicate with us by email, phone or in person; or

  • Use LinkedIn Lead Gen forms or other third-party lead forms (we receive the data you provide on those platforms).

 

We may also receive personal information from third parties where permitted by law.
 

Anonymous technical information: when you visit our website we may automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, domain name, access times and referring website addresses. This data is used for diagnostics, site performance and aggregated statistics.

 

Cookies & tracking: we use cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies enable site function; non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) are set only after you give consent via our cookie banner/preferences tool.

3. How we use and disclose personal information

 

We use and may disclose personal information only as reasonably required for the Authorized Purposes, including to:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., CRM, email delivery, hosting, analytics);

  • Affiliates or partners for joint communications when you have consented; and

  • Legal or regulatory authorities as required.

 

We do not rent, sell or trade customer lists or personal information.

 

Third-party processors & safeguards: we require service providers to maintain confidentiality and security (including Data Processing Agreements where applicable) and to process personal information only on our instructions. When personal information is transferred or processed outside Canada, we use contractual, organizational and

technical safeguards to protect the data.

 

4. Consent, CASL and marketing choices

 

By providing personal information you consent to its collection, use and disclosure for the Authorized Purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us - withdrawal may affect our ability to provide services.

 

CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation): If we send you promotional emails or other commercial electronic messages (CEMs), we will comply with CASL: we will obtain express or valid implied consent before sending marketing messages, identify ourselves clearly in each message, and include a working unsubscribe mechanism. If you wish to withdraw consent, please contact us.

 

5. Cookies & consent banner

 

We present a cookie banner on first visit allowing you to accept or manage non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always enabled for site functionality; analytics/marketing cookies are enabled only after consent. You can change cookie preferences in the banner or via your browser settings.

 

6. Retention

 

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose collected or to meet legal obligations. Typical retention periods:

  • Contact / lead data: up to 3 years after last interaction or until deletion request.

  • Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe.

  • Analytics data: per provider defaults (commonly 14–26 months) unless aggregated.

  • Financial / contract records: as required by law (commonly up to 7 years).

 

We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely.

 

7. Access, correction, verification & complaints

 

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, email connect@evolvegroup.ai with the subject "Access Request - [Your Full Name]" and provide details of the request. We may require proof of identity. We will respond within 30 days (or within the timeframe required by applicable law). Where fees are permitted by law, we will notify you in advance.

 

If you have a privacy concern and are not satisfied after contacting our Privacy Officer, Alberta residents may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) for Alberta.

 

PIPA: This organization is subject to Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

 

8. Security and breach notification

 

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, backups, staff training). No system is 100% secure. In the event of a breach affecting personal information, we will take appropriate steps and notify affected individuals and regulators as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with legal obligations.

 

9. Storage, processing & international transfers

 

We store and process personal information in Canada and with third-party providers (some of whom may process data outside Canada, e.g., the United States). When data is processed or stored outside Canada or the EU, it may be subject to local laws. We implement contractual and technical safeguards to protect transfers and will disclose the possibility of cross-border processing in this Policy.

 

10. GDPR - EU residents

 

If you are a resident of the European Union, this section applies in addition to the above. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Legal bases we rely on include consent, performance of a contract, legal obligations, and legitimate interests where appropriate.

11. Children

 

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date.
